Why include St. Ritas Retreat Foundation in your Will?
As you know, St. Rita Retreat Center relies almost entirely on retreat attendance and gifts from individuals to continue its mission. We ask you to please consider a gift to St. Ritas Retreat Foundation when you make or update your Will. Making a gift to St. Ritas Retreat Foundation can be as simple as adding a Codicil to your existing Will or estate plan.
You may use this or a similar statement:“I/we bequeath $____________ (or % of my residual estate) to St. Ritas Retreat Foundation, P. O. Box 310, Gold Hill, OR 97525".
Please let us know if you have included us in your Will so that we may properly thank you.
St. Rita Retreat Center, a place of peace and prayer, is located at 10800 Blackwell Road, Gold Hill, OR 97525. St. Rita Retreat Center is run almost entirely from the monies generated from retreats and from donations from people like you. The grounds and facilities encompass 62 acres. Any improvements, as well as the daily and/or routine maintenance of the grounds and buildings, are done for the most part by volunteers.
If you wish to volunteer:
Ask us for the list of things that need to be done at the retreat center. We will show you how easy it is to get started. Volunteers are needed year-round! Just a few hours a week, or even once or twice a month, add up and will really help to keep this a place of spiritual growth and healing for years to come. There is even a need for tasks as simple as watering, planting, and weeding flowerbeds. Please feel free to share this letter with others who may wish to help.
Volunteers can come up any time Monday through Saturday 9 am to sundown. If you have any questions, feel free to call or speak with our retreat director, Father Stephen, at 855-1333.
