Feel free to come up to the concerts early, food concessions are available or bring a picnic lunch, a good book, hike the beautiful trails or pray in one of the many meditative gardens at St. Rita's.

We do not charge admission to attend the concerts but a free will offering will be taken up to help cover our expenses and to support St. Rita Retreat Center and the Music ministry at that weeks concert.

June 26, 2011. (Sunday) Festival of Praise Christian Concert with Theresa Huether. From Santa Clara , CA. and has been in Music Ministry for more than 30 years. As a gifted guitarists and Worship Leader, she leads God's people in exuberant praise and has a recognizable anointing bringing an experience of deep worship of Jesus Christ. Theresa has been Music Ministries Coordinator and Worship Leader for both Linda Schubert and Father Peter Sanders, and has done music for many conferences and retreats. July 10, 2011 (Sunday) Festival of Praise Christian Concert with Craig Harris and the group Refiners Fire. from Medford Oregon. Craig is member of the Medford First Church of God and the founder of Shoreline Ministries which provides concerts with Refiners Fire, as well as seminars and guest speaking. Refiners Fire is still a musical ministry of encouragement, bringing fresh sounds to many of the songs that Craig and Nancy have written over the last 12 years, as well as powerful arrangements of the timeless hymns of the church. Musical styles pretty much cover the spectrum, but the message is still the same. God loves you and gave His only Son to die in your place, paying the price for you to come into God's presence as His child. July 17, 2011 (Sunday) Festival of Praise Christian Concert with Sylvia Pyeatt and the group CrossRose. CrossRose has been together for the last three years participating in the Music Ministry at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Medford and other community events. CrossRose is formed of a Trio of women (Sylvia Pyeatt, Julia Curiel, and Linda Depner) and acoustic instrumentation. They sing both Traditional and Contemporary Christian Music. With the Holy Spirit working through them, CrossRose hopes to inspire people through their music leaving them with the love of Jesus in their heart. 

July 24, 2011 (Sunday) Festival of Praise Christian Concert with Jon Clement and the group Long Mountain Revival. They started playing together in early 2007, with a love for Christian Bluegrass / Gospel and Western Swing. We decided on the name "Long Mountain Revival", as it refers to a local geographical feature near Eagle Point, and "Revival", which reflects our hearts; that we desire to see revival in the hearts of those we play for, as well as in our hearts to reach the lost. The main emphasis in the group is sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through song, They minister at Trail Christian Fellowship in the Eagle Point and Shady Cove OR area. Our line up includes: Mark Hill: Guitar and lead vocal, Vicky McGee: Harmony and lead vocal, Jon Clement: Lead, harmony vocal, and Mandolin, Bob Sullivan: Bass and tenor harmony vocal, Jerry Hannaford: fiddle, Bob Wann: Five-string Banjo, Jerry Truppa: Lead guitar Debbie Brinkerhoff: Stand-up Bass. July 31, 2011 (Sunday) Festival of Praise Concert with Nationally known Catholic recording artist Michael John Poirier from Edmond, OK. This concert is open to all ages and is a great opportunity for families to enjoy an uplifting time together with songs and stories for the soul. "Singing publicly since the age of 14, Michael pursued a career in pop music for several years before God's gentle nudging to return to prayer became a burning desire to put his 'gut' prayers to music." As Catholic Recording Artist. Michael has spent the past twenty years spreading the message of God's infinite love and timeless mercy, recording thirteen CD's and offering parish missions and concerts, often centered on Eucharistic Adoration. This 20+ member Catholic group out of Southern Oregon comes from 12 different communities & 7 different Catholic parishes. They will be doing an assortment of powerful contemporary praise and worship songs. Created To Worship is a co-sponsor of the Festival of Praise concerts and provides the sound tech's the sound equipment and CCLI licensing needed to have these concerts at St. Rita's.
