Why We Need Your Help
We have secured permission to purchase the copying rights to songs we have put together for transparencies, projections, and in song books through Christian Copyright Licensing International Company (CCLI), 17201 N.E. Sacramento St., Portland, OR 97230.
We also have a license through OCP (Oregon Catholic Press).
A fee must be paid when the licenses are renewed every year.
The transparencies and songbooks were put together for use by groups like praise and prayer groups, and at retreats, who work with or are sponsored or co-sponsored by Created to Worship. These are intended to supplement the books currently used. They add variety and enhance the music with powerful praise and worship songs. Created to Worship Praise & Worship Teams also provide musical support for Sunday Masses and special events such as confirmation services, conferences, Life in the Spirit seminars, retreats, festivals of praise, youth rallies, music ministry workshops, weddings, funerals, anniversaries, and much more. In addition, many of us provide music for prayer and praise groups, youth groups, and youth Masses, as well as Sunday Masses. We work with and assist parish music leaders in the selection of praise and worship music which is appropriate for use at the liturgies. Another service we offer is that of a music ministry coordinator or consultant. Music is selected for Sunday Masses and special events months in advance, following the church year and the scripture readings for that Sunday. The recommendations are sent to members of Created to Worship’s Music Ministry for the asking. This service helps them in the planning of the music for their parish liturgies.We also have quarterly practice (Jam Sessions) to work with music ministers and to introduce new songs and to do teachings. Many of us are available to give lessons and to tutor members in improving their playing skills, making them better praise and worship leaders.
